Is your fridge noisy or not staying as cold?

If your fridge is making a humming noise, especially after the door was open for 20 seconds or so… you may just have a damp dust build up on your refrigerator coils. The same goes for if your refrigerator or other coolers aren’t staying as cool as they used too. Yes, sometimes it’s something mechanical, but sometimes the coils just need a good brushing and vacuuming out.

The coils help to dissipate warm air from the fridge, so if they get dirty, they can’t get rid of the heat and they often make a humming noise.

If you’re comfortable taking apart a few screws, this is a relatively simple job. Your coils are likely either on the bottom front or on the bottom rear of your fridge. If you know the make and model of your fridge, you can look it up on YouTube and find a video that shows where your coils are.

I don’t recommend spraying any cleaning solution, just loosen and remove the dust. That’s the problem.

I can also do this service ala carte or I do clean this on home or office deep cleans.
