Deep Cleaning Dave

Back when I was a kid, I was raised by my mom, grandmother and aunt, all of whom had me cleaning from an early age. My grandmother was a stickler for detail cleaning & I attended military school for 2 years as well…. so I got my share of detail cleaning drilled into me. LOL

As I got older, into my teenage / high school years, my first job ever was meticulously cleaning school hallways, stairs and of course bathrooms. Kids bathrooms tend to be the worst, as most kids have no sense of keeping things clean, and most are still trying to “get their aim down” and make it in the toilet… not too different from many warehouse or shop restrooms nowadays, as they tend to border on “scary things to clean” for many cleaners! LOL

When I was 17, I started a cleaning service, called Urban Janitorial & Landscaping, but I sucked at sales, and Google didn’t exist yet, so I wasn’t able to grow much.

Fast Fwd to 2020

Back in 2019, I was an independent cleaning contractor for a couple of cleaning companies… while also cleaning at Dunkin in #Glendale-Heights and also Panera in #Addison. One of the cleaning company owners that I worked with was a good friend that I’ve known since grade school. He would tell me…. Dude, you need to get some equipment and supplies and start your own service.

Dec. 2024

As of December 2024, I still do all my own work… yes I have help when I need it, but I still work on all jobs to ensure everything turns out awesome!

Now with my background, cleaning skills / knowledge and just my sheer competitive nature… I work hard on every job and continue to research not only cleaning products & tools, but also materials / fabrics / surfaces that I clean.

What works best – safely – on what surface for what type of dirt…. and NO, vinegar doesn’t clean everything. The vinegar hype on YouTube is getting ridiculous! LMAO
