You know how car wax helps protect your car by creating a barrier that rain slides off more completely & faster? You can do the same thing for your shower!
Yep, it turns out, you can wax most shower walls, glass partitions & fixtures so your dirty shower water can’t stick to whatever is waxed.
IF YOU DO THIS… please don’t use a cheap spray wax as your base coat and then complain about why it didn’t work. Just saying… if you do it right (or have me do it), you’ll get solid results. Do your own testing and research… as there are 1,000’s of materials used in millions of restrooms / bathrooms. So it’s impossible to know if it will work on yours, but for us with more “normal” bathrooms, this is a solid way to help showers stay cleaner, especially regarding keeping hard water stains to a minimum on glass.
Here’s a quick 6 minute video showing the water test and how shiny it made my shower. The shine is nice, but I want to see how long it lasts. I only did one coat of wax to see the effects, but I’ll likely add one or two more coats so it last longer.
I imagine this can be done in commercial restrooms for toilets, urinals, walls by toilets, etc. For us cleaners, finding something that helps us spend less time cleaning up the nasty gunk around toilets… I’m in!
I have one commercial account where the shop employees hit the wall more than the urinal… seriously, how does this happen? Urinals are pretty wide nowadays, but then again, so are football goal posts… It’s not that difficult to get it thru the goal posts if you just focus for a few seconds. LOL
Enjoy your day… as the hidden battle rages on to protect humanity from dirty #bathroomaphobia! 😀
